OPG – Orthopantomogram Radiography

A panoramic radiograph is a panoramic dental x-ray that scans the upper and lower jaws including the teeth (and wisdom teeth) in a single film. It is a crucial scan for dental implants at upper and lower jaws and also while removing wisdom teeth as it clearly locates the distance between nerve and teeth.

Besides, OPG helps is identifying the amount of bone loss, the level of fracture, bony defects and in diagnosis of cyst or tooth infection.
